Premature babies or infants born with certain physiological conditions require special medical care and rehabilitation. This rehabilitation is provided free of charge in medical institutions across the country that have an NHSU contract under the package "Medical rehabilitation of infants born prematurely and/or ill during the first three years of life". In this way, the Medical Guarantee Program ensures comprehensive rehabilitation support for all children who need it, regardless of where they were born or where they currently live.
Among the 128 children's hospitals, diagnostic institutions, and specialized rehabilitation centers contracted with the NHSU, parents with internally displaced status may choose any medical facility, regardless of registration or place of residence, and complete a rehabilitation course there.
