Cerebrospinal fluid studies
The clinical-diagnostic laboratory is headed by the senior laboratory physician in clinical biochemistry of the highest category, Svitlana Volodymyrivna Turakevych.
The quality of laboratory studies is ensured by:
internal quality control — systematic daily quality control of biochemical, hematological, and coagulometric studies through the use of control materials (serum, whole blood, plasma);
external interlaboratory quality control — the clinical-diagnostic laboratory participates in interlaboratory control systems.
The instrumental diagnostics service includes radiological, ultrasound, and clinical instrumental studies.
The office is equipped with modern diagnostic complexes featuring television systems. The radiology office staff provide a high level of diagnostic and preventive studies of the gastrointestinal tract, chest organs, musculoskeletal system, and genitourinary system.
The head of the office is the radiologist Natalia Volodymyrivna Dolzhenko, physician of the first qualification category.
The most accessible, safe, and highly informative method of diagnostics is ultrasound diagnostics. The Department of Functional Diagnostics and Ultrasound Studies uses all modern types of ultrasound studies:
thyroid gland;
abdominal organs (liver, gallbladder, bile ducts, pancreas, spleen);
prostate and testicles;
kidneys and adrenal glands, bladder;
mammary glands;
gynecological ultrasound of the pelvic organs (including transvaginal examination) — uterus and adnexa;
heart, including with Doppler mapping;
superficial soft tissue formations (lipomas, lymph nodes);
vessels of the neck and extremities with Doppler mapping;
echoencephalography.
The department is headed by the ultrasound diagnostic physician of the highest category, Olha Ivanivna Yeremizina.
Among instrumental studies, the following are performed: electrocardiography in 12 generally accepted leads and in additional leads, electromyography, 24-hour Holter monitoring of ECG and blood pressure, bicycle ergometry, and external respiration function studies.
Within the "Procedures" service, the following classes are defined: "Gastrointestinal Endoscopy," "Interventional Imaging," "Outpatient Surgery," "Medical Procedures," and others.
In the polyclinic's endoscopic studies office, planned and urgent diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopies of the gastrointestinal tract are performed (esophagogastroduodenoscopy, colonoscopy), along with cytomorphological verification of diagnosis, chromoendoscopic techniques, and rapid diagnostics of Helicobacter infection. Esophagogastroduodenoscopy enables the physician, based on visual observation of the mucous membrane of the gastrointestinal tract, to make a diagnosis and prescribe the most effective course of treatment.
The endoscopy office is headed by an endoscopist of the highest category, Ihor Vasylovych Korzh.
After the diagnosis is established, the polyclinic physicians provide the patient with clear recommendations for treatment and follow-up. If medically indicated, the polyclinic physician may refer the patient to one of the specialized inpatient departments. Patients who do not require round-the-clock supervision may receive treatment in the polyclinic's day hospital.
Each day hospital patient receives the full necessary range of services (except meals and round-the-clock stay). The range of services is provided by specialty physicians representing more than 20 medical specialties, most of whom hold the highest category.
The day hospital is headed by Mamuka Avtandilovych Bazadze, a cardiologist of the highest category with more than 30 years of clinical experience. He has experience working in emergency cardiology, as well as in intensive care and cardiology departments.
The day hospital nurse, Valentyna Mykhailivna Zhyrna, holds the highest category and has extensive medical experience and highly professional practical skills.
The physician's office is well equipped with diagnostic equipment, allowing for a high-quality initial examination of patients. Medical care is provided in the manipulation rooms and wards of the day hospital. Free medication treatment is provided when pharmaceuticals are available. If necessary, consultation with any required specialists is arranged in the day hospital.
Non-pharmacological treatment methods play a major role in the complex of therapeutic measures, and these are provided in the Department of Physical and Medical Rehabilitation.
The department includes:
a hydrotherapy unit (radon, turpentine, bischofite, copper sulfate, coniferous, and pearl baths and their combinations; Charcot shower; circular, ascending, and underwater shower-massage);
thermotherapy (classical and low-temperature ozokerite therapy);

The department is headed by a physician of the highest category, candidate of medical sciences Iryna Valentynivna Katarzhnova.
